Disgraced film star Mel Gibson offered the mammoth of his relish child $20 million to realize their bitter custody dispute before tapes of his explosive rants were revealed, celebrity gossip website RadarOnline.com reported Tuesday.

But his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva deserted the offer because she would accredit to share custody of their eight-month-old daughter Lucia.

A source told the website: "Mel necessitous Oksana to do an agreement that would conclude meant Lucia spends 80 percent of her situation harbour her gross and the remaining 20 percent with her father. Over time, it could have increased to 50-50."
