ACCUSED of injuring old ladies and larceny cellphones, a gang of monkeys has been bullying residents of a Mumbai suburb for the preceding three months.

Gunavanti Vora, an 87-year-old inhabitant of vicious Parle, a village on the outskirts of India's largest city, was shooing one of the perpetrators away from her window one afternoon, The Times of India reported, when the animal, attempting to rob a biscuit, knocked her down further left her squirrel a fractured leg.
